On November 22, we attended the “Protegim” conference in Barcelona on the protection of vulnerable people, organized by Alzheimer Catalunya Fundació.

We would like to highlight the inaugural conference given by David Mayor Fernández, Prosecutor of the Disability and Elderly Unit of the State Attorney General’s Office, with whom the day before we were able to share a working session where we were able to explain some of the concerns and difficulties that we, the entities that provide support, encounter in order to carry out our work and adequately protect the people we accompany.

Likewise, during both days we were able to join ties and share knowledge and experiences with different organizations providing support: Alzheimer Catalunya Fundació, Beroa Fundazioa, Gertuan Fundazioa, Hurkoa Fundazioa, Malats Mentals de Catalunya and Support Girona.
